AKJ is a hybrid in the financial world and offers global brokerage services, digital tools and specialist expertise in hedge funds. AK Jensen Group Limited is a global company based in New York, London, Malta and Oslo, and is owned by shareholders with over $18 billion in total assets. The Group serves hedge funds and institutional clients in 35 countries around the world.

When their customers invest money, they are first and foremost looking for trust.

Through digital services, design agencies can design websites that strengthen their identity.
The website must be dynamic and designed to adapt to mobile fit.

Challenge

AKJ operates in markets where expertise and quality differentiate and position.

At Mission, we quickly realised that we were dealing with the world's best advisors and providers. The brand did not fully reflect this; however, both parties agreed on the common ambitions and goals for how a 'world-class' brand in this part of the financial industry should look, and act.

The process of developing and positioning AKJ has been a dream scenario when we talk about collaboration, not least when it comes to stretching and making each other better!

 

Solution

We redesigned the identity to establish an impression of quality, security, and trust.

Logo, colour palette, typography, icons, image style, animations and patterns were defined, designed and implemented. Several websites have been designed from the ground up, tailored to each their purpose.

Result

After implementing the presentation material and the updated visual identity, AKJ experienced an immediate effect in terms of increased self-confidence and positive feedback. They have been invited to a number of forums, not only to present themselves and their products, but also to share their views on the future of asset management.

A new focus on simplification made it possible for the company to sharpen its offering to a demanding international market.
